Toy Closet Organization

Here a quick and easy update for the dreaded toys we all have piling up in one room in our house (or multiple haha) We have this tiny hall closet under our stairs. I thought it would be perfect for Willa's toys to be hidden away when we didn't want them out laying all over the house. Currently we have her little play area set up down stairs, so she goes into this closet and pulls out all her toys when she want to play. Eventually, the play room will be moved upstairs, but I'm waiting until she's a little bit older.

I posted a instastories asking what to do if your baby is leaking through his/her diaper and got so many useful advice I thought I would post the, here! I didn’t realize how common this was. My inbox was flooded with so many responses I was thinking to myself “thank god im not the only one this has happened to” little did you know this was the third time this week this happened. Basically my laundry machine has been my best friend. So what did all of you recommend? See below for the most common responses.

What I'm using to help my baby get over her cold

I knew the time would come when we would have to deal with Willa's first cold. I'm so thankful it happened around her being 7 months old. First off, I should state I am no expert and you should always seek out the advice from your Dr. These are some things that were recommended to me by my Dr that I am implementing. Willa just has a little cold, so you know, the usual stuffy/runny nose, a fake cough and on top of it she is teething. Two teeth popped out last week and I swear she has more working on coming through. Teething makes the cold worse and my Dr said could last unto 14 days.  Thank god she has not had a fever, but she is pulling at her ears (because of teething) I went and made sure she didn't have an ear infection. Basically, we have to ride out this cold and let her body get rid of it on her own. However, there are somethings I'm doing to make her a little bit more comfortable.

What I'm Packing in my hospital bag

Currently sitting her as I type and can't't believe I'm 37 weeks pregnant. That means I have +/- 3 weeks to go until little baby Harmeyer is here. I am putting together this post because I found myself searching all over the internet on what you should pack for the hospital. Some list I found were a little crazy, I mean the last thing I want to do it lug a huge bag around when I'm in labor, but I also don't want to forget anything that is super useful while you're there. Thank you to those that commented on my instagram photo and gave me your input! Hopefully this list is short, sweet and to the point of what you need for (hopefully a few days) the hospital.
