One of my new year goals is to ditch and switch out products and create a more chemical free home. Its slowly happening, but it brings me so much joy with every new product I switch out. This month I focused on my laundry room. This one bottle costs me less then $8 and washes up to 64 loads of laundry. Read more for my laundry hack.
My thieves laundry hack:
1. Separate your thieves laundry soap into 3-32oz glass jars with pumps (i found these ones on amazon)
2.Add one cap of thieves household cleaner to each bottle for an extra boost
3. Add 20 drops of lemon or lavender YL essential oil to each bottle
4. Slowly fill with water and tip back and forth one full (with cap on) to evenly distribute.
With one 32oz thieves laundry soap, I have now turned it into 3-3oz bottles that will clean over 200 loads of laundry. That comes out to less then $8 a bottle. Not only is it cheaper, but its 100% plant based and non-toxic.
DIY Dryer Ball Spray:
10 drops of two YL essential oils ( I used lavender and lemon)
A tablespoon of witch hazel
fill the rest with water
