Valentines Day Basket

Oh I love holidays! I love making them so special for Willa. Her birthday is February 15th, so I always told myself she will always feel special on Vday and her birthday and treat them as two different holidays.  With that said, I tried to keep her basket cute, but practical. We're taking her to Disneyland for Vday, so I wanted to get her a few disney items. I found that cute minnie sweatshirt, which was perfect! The XOXO tee she can wear under and then put on her minnie sweatshirt once it gets cooler in the day. The heart sunglasses are just SO cute! I got myself a pair as well.  I also got myself this matching tee that says KISS ME. I only put gummie bears and mini m&m's as far as candy goes. Then I got her a cute heart lollipop luch bag to carry all her snacks in, a sweet vday book, some tie-dye pjs and a little cup to drink some strawberry milk in.

"Open Minded" toy ideas for toddlers

Open Minded toys are ones that help kids use their imagination. I really want Willa to use her imagination when it comes to toys. I'm trying my best to be more thoughtful when purchasing her toys. I want them to teach her to imagine, create, practice skills, and learn. I want her to be able to entertain herself and not have the toys entertain her. This doesn't mean all her toys are "open minded" believe me I have a tablet for those desperate times and other toys that do the entertaining. However, I think it so easy to shop for those. Its the toys that do more then just be a toy are the ones I think are harder to shop for. So here is my list of open minded toys for toddlers that make great gifts! Easter Basket Ideas for toddlers

Last year Willa was 2 months old on Easter. We were away for the weekend for my SILs wedding, so with that said we didn't even get Willa anything (except a cute outfit to wear) for Easter.
