Valentines Day Basket

Oh I love holidays! I love making them so special for Willa. Her birthday is February 15th, so I always told myself she will always feel special on Vday and her birthday and treat them as two different holidays.  With that said, I tried to keep her basket cute, but practical. We're taking her to Disneyland for Vday, so I wanted to get her a few disney items. I found that cute minnie sweatshirt, which was perfect! The XOXO tee she can wear under and then put on her minnie sweatshirt once it gets cooler in the day. The heart sunglasses are just SO cute! I got myself a pair as well.  I also got myself this matching tee that says KISS ME. I only put gummie bears and mini m&m's as far as candy goes. Then I got her a cute heart lollipop luch bag to carry all her snacks in, a sweet vday book, some tie-dye pjs and a little cup to drink some strawberry milk in.

Our birth story of little Willa

20 Week Bumpdate

 20 Week Bumpdate 

I am so excited to be at the half way point, and still can't believe its already 20 weeks carrying this sweet little nugget. I have a lot to update you on, especially since this is my official bump date update. Yesterday we had our 20 week ultrasound appointment, and we received some new photos of the baby girl. I just can't stop staring at them! They also gave us a 3D image of her face... well sort of and I mean its just the cutest thing. It still trips me out that this little baby is growing inside of me. 

Also, how cute is that lamb knit doll by Cuddle + Kind? Her name is Lucy and whats even more amazing is that for every doll purchased form Cuddle + Kind, they donate 10 meals to children in need. You can read more about why they donate HERE. 

Lucy is about the size of a baby, so I can't wait to have them snuggled up together. You can check out Lucy + all her cute knit friends here. HOW BIG OUR BABY IS

Our baby is about the size of a banana! At our 20 week appointment she weighed about 15 ounces, which is 1 ounce shy of a pound! She is in the 80th percentile for her weight and thats just crazy to me because I'm still barely bumpin'.

How I told Gregg we were expecting!

Most of you don't know, but Gregg and I had a hard time conceiving (its taken us over 3 1/2 years to finally be pregnant). We tried naturally for over a year and half with no luck. Finally, we decided to see a fertility specialist and our journey with IVF started. We were diagnosed with "Unexplained Infertility," which made it worse because we didn't know what was keeping us from getting pregnant.
