Lets be honest, we all love a good tan. Since it's currently March and we are just getting a little taste of sun right now in California, were all pretty much pasty. I'm breaking down my top self tanners that get me through this awkward non peak bronzing months. (Plus self tanners are a lot safer for us so it's a double win)

My favorite self tanners:
1. Tan Towels
These are a super quick fix. I usually do this right after the shower at night. These gradually make you get darker, so you don't see the results right away.
Tips: Make sure you wash your hands right after applying. Also make sure you rub the wipe all over ( underside of your arms.... elbows.... knees) you don't want to be blotchy or spotted.

2. Gradual Tanning Lotion
Apply just like lotion and this will also gradually turn into a tan. Love this one because it gives you a sun kissed glow and does not smell like tanner.
Tips: Always wash your hands after and try to apply as evenly as possible! Wait to get dressed until lotion is dry.

3. Tinted Self Tanner Lotion
Apply just like lotion and you will see an instant glow. The tinted self tanner option is good for the NOW results. If you have an event or special occasion and want to look tan instantly this is a great option.
Tips: Always wash your hands after and try to apply as evenly as possible! Wait to get dressed until lotion is dry.

4. Self Tan Mist
What I love about the misting self tanner is that it gets a pretty evenly spread and those hard to reach places. Super easy to use and it usually shows right away.
Tips: I usually do this in my shower (not on obviously) just so they spray doesn't get all over the place and can be washed off the shower.

5. Tanning Mousse
I like to this of the mousse as a quick fix tan. This is easy to apply and is streak free. Gradually fades into a darker tan over time.
Tips: Always wash your hands after and try to apply as evenly as possible! Wait to get dressed until mousse is dry.
