I recently went to a baby shower for one of my good friends Markel. After putting together her gift basket, I thought it would be helpful to post about what I got her! A lot of times for baby showers its easy to buy a cute outfit, but ultimately there are some baby essentials that will help mom in those tougher times to help make her life a little but easier. Here is my list of cute, but practical baby shower gifts.
I own two of these mats- one for Willas changing pad in her room and one for my diaper bag. Its leather, so its easy to wipe clean and fold up.
This thing is genius. Even though it might be the most disgusting idea, it works. Like really works. Basically you suck out your babies snot and boogers with this little gadget. The saline spray helps keep the nose goodies loose and easier to suck up.
This is another must have. I lost this thing for a week and literally lost my mind and had to order another one. It makes getting those stubborn sticky boogers out of the babies nose (when they don't want to get sucked out) You can also use on the ears to get out the extra wax build up.
Another thing you need to have on hand when you're a mom. Love this one is small enough to throw in a bag or stroller.
If you don't know now you know. This machine literally "SHHs" for you. Its like white noise for baby and in a calm soothing way just says "Shh Shh" over and over again.
These little brushes make it easier to get the cradle cap or dead scaly skin off baby in a soft soothing way.
I have this in Willa's nursery and love it. If you don't want to have a wipe warmer, but still have a cute bin to put your wipes in I highly recommend this guy.
I love the pampers sensitive wipes for my diaper bag.
The Pampers swaddles are great for new parents especially newborns. The little pee line helps new parents see if the diaper is wet.
I found this cute brand on Amazon and they have so many cute designs! I love the muslin swaddles to use as a lightweight blanket, or swaddle baby on those warmer days with.
I put this cute teether in her basket, You can never have enough teethers, I also love this one as another option because you can put in in the freezer to chill it.
This little romper is just so sweet and cute. Had to add little stylish outfit in the basket.
