What I'm using to help my baby get over her cold

I knew the time would come when we would have to deal with Willa's first cold. I'm so thankful it happened around her being 7 months old. First off, I should state I am no expert and you should always seek out the advice from your Dr. These are some things that were recommended to me by my Dr that I am implementing. Willa just has a little cold, so you know, the usual stuffy/runny nose, a fake cough and on top of it she is teething. Two teeth popped out last week and I swear she has more working on coming through. Teething makes the cold worse and my Dr said could last unto 14 days.  Thank god she has not had a fever, but she is pulling at her ears (because of teething) I went and made sure she didn't have an ear infection. Basically, we have to ride out this cold and let her body get rid of it on her own. However, there are somethings I'm doing to make her a little bit more comfortable.

My top 5 things you need to help a baby with a cold:

As gross as this thing is, it works. I know what you're thinking-- does the snot go into your mouth? No, as long as you have everything attached correctly.  If you need to see it in action head to my baby favs on my instagram highlights. I give a little demonstration there and you can just hear how much snot I suck up.

I went with this one by Pure, only because it was same day delivery on Amazon. I needed it asap and it was delivered to me that afternoon. It seems to be getting the job done and haven't had any messes.

This is a natural chest rub made of Eucalyptus, lavender and beeswax.  I rub this on her chest and bottom of her feet when she goes to bed and takes her naps.

This is made of agave and ivy leaf extract to help clear the mucus in their throats when coughing

These moisturize and flush out mucus to keep their nose clean. Helps suck up all the snot.

* I also use this thermometer
