Next up on my list of must have baby essentials is the "Owlet Smart Sock." This device is intended to tell you things your baby can't.  Read more below to find out why this smart sock device will give you a peace of mind while your baby sleeps. 

What is the Owlet Smart Sock?

The smart sock tracks your baby's heart rate and oxygen, and notifies you know if either one falls outside the preset zone. The smart sock can be worn comfortably on either foot by just wrapping it around and placing the dome on top of the foot if you have your baby wear it on the right foot, or the dome is worn on the bottom if on the left foot. Basically this monitor gives parents a piece of mind while their baby sleeps. If something is out of the ordinary relating to the your baby's heart rate or oxygen levels if will notify you in real time. The smart sock has an app where you can receive notifications and stream real time heart rate and oxygen levels.

What I love most about this device?

The peace of mind. This device helps me sleep at night. I'm not sure I would be sleeping at all if I didn't use the smart sock. The Owlet device serves as extra help if something goes wrong with her heart rate/oxygen while she sleeps. It puts me at ease knowing that if for whatever reason her levels drop or rise the base station will notify me.

Do I use this device every night?

Yes! I have to. It helps me so much to not be that paranoid mom checking on Willa every few minutes. If I didn't have the Owlet thats exactly what I would be doing. I even bring it with me while were on vacation. I am honestly so thankful that technology is this advance. Knowing that I have this device on her tracking her heart rate and oxygen levels is seriously life changing.

What does the app look like?

Here are some screen shots of what the app looks like when you open it up. She didn'thave her device on when I took this, which is why there is no numbers in her heart rate or oxygen level. Usually though when she has it on it gives you live readings when you have it open and tells you what her heart rate is and oxygen %. I love how easy it is to use and how it is very straight to the point. The app is clean and simple.
